YA Authors... Like A Boss!

2nd May, 2012: Melina Marchetta writes a post on goodreads where she mentions the possibility of an event in LA.

2nd May, 2012: Maggie writes a comment to said post on goodreads where she shamelessly throws herself at Melina, begging her to hold an event in LA.

4th May, 2012: Melina responds. LIKE A BOSS.
There's a reason why she's called The Queen. And I will bet on the Goddess of Blood and Tears every day of the week! Is anyone else planning on going to Comic-Con and/or stalking Melina around LA?

  1. Maggie - unfortunately going to LA to see double M is beyond my financial capabilities at the moment. GUTTED. But I rejoice in your joy!

    1. AH! For sure?? Then you must, MUST read her books! Jellicoe Road, Finnikin of the Rock (so you can read Froi of the Exiles), Saving Francesca (so you can The Piper's Son)... you can't go wrong with any of them. :)

  5. Goddess of Blood and Tears, I love it! I think I saw her blog or tweet about a possible LA event? So it's probably going to happen since there's already been an announcement in social networks. Post a recap if that ever happens! I'll be really jealous, wish going to LA wasn't so expensive. :P

  6. I expect you to show up in a helmet equipped with its own audio-visual studio. And then I want clips of you asking really specific and random questions, like, "if Tom were a flightless bird, which one would he be?" I really hope it happens! Even though it's on the opposite side of the country. :(
